Terms and Conditions

We accept your booking on the basis of the terms and conditions below, which are designed to clarify the contractual obligations between us. Please spend time reading them carefully and feel free to contact us should anything be unclear.

Greenman Tours is registered as a business with HM Revenue and Customs. Our terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Card Payment Security

With Sage Pay all transactions are encrypted and payment systems are monitored and audited regularly by world leading Qualified Security Assessors, so all payments are completely secure.

Data Protection

Greenman Tours fully complies with the United Kingdom 1998 Data Protection Act.

Greenman Tours Website
Greenman Tours takes all reasonable care to ensure that the website information is clear and accurate. In the event that certain amenities or details change we will do our best to inform you as soon as reasonably possible. Greenman Tours does not accept responsibility for any errors within the content of the website or descriptions which you may find misleading.

The Coach
The coach companies we use have been selected to be relied upon to provide modern, comfortable, quality coaches and careful considerate drivers.

Smoking, and alcohol consumption, is prohibited on all our coaches, as well as drinking hot beverages, and consuming food.

Greenman Tours Ticket
On receipt of your booking payment, you will be sent a ticket by email, or by post once your cheque has cleared. At this point, Greenman Tours has accepted your booking on the terms set out in this contract. If for some reason you have not received you ticket please contact us as soon as possible because when you book through our website you are agreeing to abide by our terms and conditions and will be subject to our cancellation policies even if you have not received your ticket. We advise you to print your ticket, and bring it with you for your journey.

Ticket alterations
If you want to change any of the details of your booking we will always do our best to help. We will however make an amendment charge of £2.00 per person to cover the administration costs. If you wish to make an alteration we reserve the right to make cancellation charges. All amendments must be notified to us in writing or by email to

Fitness to Travel
We strive to give all our customers full care and attention, but we do need to know at the time of booking if there are any special needs or requirements. It is particularly important that we are advised of any disabilities and also if you intend to bring any specialist equipment such as a wheelchair with you, (that will be stored in the hold for you until required).

Coach travel conditions
Your coach travelling conditions will be subject to the terms and conditions of the coach company providing the transport. In most cases the conditions will limit the carriers liability to you in accordance with UK law. Should anyone be refused admission to the coach then we are powerless to assist and cannot be held responsible. This includes any passenger who fails to advise us of any medical condition or disability. If you are prevented from travelling as a result, our responsibility for your tour ceases. Full cancellation charges will apply and we will be under no obligation for any refund, compensation, or loss you may incur.

Personal Booking Details
The details of your Greenman Tour booking arrangements along with your personal information will be shared only with the relevant service providers involved in facilitating the services which you have booked.

Payment methods
Payments by Paypal or debit card or credit card from our website are accepted by us. UK cheques are accepted as payment, and the booking will be confirmed when the payment has cleared.

Personal Insurance
We recomend that you take out a policy of travel insurance in order to cover you and your party against any cost of cancellation by yourself, as well as any additional costs which may result as a consequence of unforeseen circumstances which may arise.

Tour departures
It is your responsibility to leave ample time for your journey to the nominated departure point. Please ensure that you are at your stated departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time. We cannot refund the cost of your tour if you experience any form of delay.

We can store your luggage but it will be carried at your own risk.

Cancellations and Refunds
We reserve the right to cancel your tour due to unusual or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and if this unlikely event occurs we will return to you all money that you have paid to us, but you will not be entitled to any compensation for the loss of the tour.

Missed tours will be treated as cancellations.

You must inform us by email or telephone as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a tour. We will charge you a percentage of the total price as follows on the day we receive notice of your cancellation. The cancellation charges are as follows:- 7 or more days notice before tour 20% of the total paid. 4 to 6 days notice before tour 30% of the total paid. 1 to 3 days notice before tour 50% of the total paid. Day of tour 100% of total paid. If we manage to resell your seats we may offer you a discretionary refund.

Where the tour is interrupted to a significant extent by circumstances beyond our control we will refund what is deemed to be a fair proportion of the cost of the tour.

Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of any loss, damage or injury caused by natural disasters, weather, war , riots, terrorism, or criminal activity, industrial disputes, fires, traffic conditions, technical issues, explosions, or other events outside of our control, then Greenman Tours does not accept any liability.

Passengers are responsible for their own personal effects at all times. Passengers connecting with other forms of transport should allow plenty of time to do so. If any delays are caused because our tour is late, due to circumstances beyond our control, then we do not accept responsibility. Passengers are expected to behave in a reasonable manner and are liable for any damage caused by misconduct.

Passengers must return to the stops punctually within the time stated for return, otherwise the coach may have to leave without you. If this situation should occur we will not be held liable.

Greenman Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries and transport. If we must change your tour, which may be for reasons beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible. If the change significantly alters an essential term of the contract, you will have the right to withdraw from the contract in which event we will repay all money already paid by you to us.

If for some reason you are not satisfied with the service provided by Greenman Tours please talk to the guide or the driver and they will do their best to sort out the problem.
